As a fairly new user of FCP, one thing I really like is the way you "tell it like it is". Honest, direct and complete. I get the "who, what, when, where and why" in almost everything you publish. You give me straight answers, in a factual manner, that's easily digested (for a new user like myself) and you've made it easier to make sense of FCP and a lot of it's many related programs.
You make the rounds, rub shoulders with the people and software "I" want to know about, and put it into a newsletter to me. Very cool! If you don't know something or your not sure...you say so. I respect that. If you say wait... I do. I value you opinion and look forward to each newsletter.

I enjoy the just plain talk and the humor. Humor is good when you are trying to really learn something. It puts things in perspective. One of the strongest points of your book is that once you go through reading and doing something you tell the reader when you use that feature or principle and how often. This is just great. I can honestly say that you have taught me some great stuff on how to edit. It is just what I wanted. I have been doing some things the hard way. My mind has been running free thinking of all sorts of things I could do better.
